I graduated from Hunter College in June 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with minors in History and Sociology. I joined CHE because I recognized health education gaps in my community and their severe impacts on the population. This motivated me to become a community outreach coordinator, to play a role in increasing health literacy in underserved communities. Currently, I am an Ob-Gyn scribe at Ryan Health Women and Childrens where I am able to work with a patient population that largely includes asylum seekers and newly-arrived immigrants from Central and South America. In my free time, I enjoy trying out new recipes and watching historical films/ documentaries.
