"Nicole Vernot-Jonas is an Accelerated Master’s in Global Health candidate at Georgetown University. She is pursuing a certificate in Refugees, Migration, and Humanitarian Emergencies and is passionate about the intersection of refugee health and women’s health. Nicole joined Community HealthEd because she believes that one of the primary ways to expand healthcare access to vulnerable populations is by expanding access to health information through clear and concise scientific writing. Outside of Community Health Ed, Nicole is VP of PR and Marketing at Georgetown’s chapter of Project RISHI (Rural India Social and Health Improvement), which works to promote sustainable development in rural India. She is also a soprano in the Georgetown Chamber Singers. In her free time, Nicole enjoys hiking, playing piano, and listening to music.
